WARWICKSHIRE HEARTS HOST CPR & AED WORKSHOP

Would you feel comfortable with performing CPR or using a defibrillator on somebody in need? 🤔

Last week, we welcomed Tim Morris, Judith and Mark, volunteers from Warwickshire Hearts, to provide a CPR and AED workshop here at Mill Street.

In partnership with Evelyn's Gift, Warwickshire Hearts has delivered free training to over 10,000 people within community groups, schools and organisations and is on a mission to continue this vital work.

During the workshop, we learned how to

- Perform CPR

- Use a Defibrillator

- Place someone in the recovery position

- Help somebody who’s choking

- Provide critical care for a patient until an ambulance arrives

Special thanks to Tim Morris, Mark and Judith for providing us with such a brilliant session.

We recommend that everyone learn this valuable skill that could potentially save somebody’s life. You never know when you may need it.

NEW £350K GRANT FROM WCC IS LIVE

VERY LIMITED TIME REMAINING

With grants of up to £30k available per business, Warwickshire County Council have launched round 2 of their hugely popular Digital Creative Co-Investment Recovery grant.

This is a very limited-time fund (only 5 weeks) and is likely to be even more competitive than the previous round, so don't hang about if you have a project ready to go.

PASSIONEERS RUN BRANDING WORKSHOP FOR SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE AND WORCESTERSHIRE MIND

This week, 6 inspiring Passioneers took part in a branding workshop for South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind.

Together, our Passioneers volunteered their time and brain power, delving into SWW Mind’s brand guidelines & tone of voice to help with the charity's positioning and consistency across social media.

Emily Halderthay from South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind says -

"A huge thank you to Make Good Grow for hosting and helping to organise two branding workshops for SWWMind. As a charity, we were really keen to get clearer on our positioning in order to present ourselves better on our website, search engines and social media. Make Good Grow facilitated both sessions, inviting an incredible range of business professionals to participate in two workshops, a week apart.
