Quietnote is here to use our expertise in music to provide an innovative approach to mindfulness. By combining music and mindfulness, we can give you more control over your mental health, wellbeing and happiness. Alongside this, our work is here to help inspire, improve skills, heighten focus and boost performance - giving you more control over your time, money and energy.
The session begins with an introduction and open conversation about mindfulness and how it can have a positive impact on our wellbeing and mental health.
This is followed by an introduction to breathing exercises and techniques to help calm and centre the mind. From this, participants shall explore how music can act as the guide to mindfulness exercises.
Through this section, Will uses his classical guitar to help participants experience how music can help reduce stress, control anxiety, and help relax the body. Throughout the session participants are invited to share their thoughts and feelings, allowing individuals to better personalise the practice to their body and lifestyle.
Mindfulness is not all about relaxation and ‘inner-peace’, it’s also about heightening our senses, focusing our minds, and improving our skills. This session is here to do exactly that.
